I lived in an empty house. The rooms were deserted, there was nobody to be found. And I still live in that empty house to this very day, singing to my string as night becomes day.
What is it about lonely houses that reside in our minds? Why do they stay there, storing lost time? I think about them quite a lot these days, but I do not know why. Whenever I come home, it’s empty and cold, and I do not want to be there anymore. What am I writing now, this nonsense? Like it all hasn’t been written before. Unoriginal and trite, this tale has nothing new to tell. It’s as empty as a house.
Home is where the heart is. Home is where the heartless. Where home is the heart. Home is where? Homeless hearts go where? Homeless hearts are where the heart is at home. Hope is for the heartless; hearts are for the hopeless. I made this house for an unemptied mind, built by a Stranger such a very long time ago. But I still have to find how to make this place a home. This is a house that has many doors. They are always open, and often change to jars. A clear and lengthy line of empty jars, reaching endlessly towards the rainbow’s back of the horizon. This is a house without a single soul in sight. No candles cast frigtening shadows on the old floral wallpaper at night. The halls areΒ stretched-out and dark, like a daddy’s long legs. This is a house where the radio waves. This is a house.
This is a house that leaves.

I am going to write a review soonish.
I’m looking forward to it. π
I have read it indeed, sometime last summer. π Especially loved all the gorgeous vintage photos. I kind of had it in mind while writing this.
